CLASSROOM RULES
Class Rules
1. Follow all teacher directions.
2. Be kind.
Students begin the day on "Ready to Learn" and their magnets are moved up as they are caught having great classroom behavior throughout the day through three levels of excellence. Students who are not exhibiting appropriate behaviors have their magnets moved down to "Think About It" , "Time Out", and "Loss of Recess". Time out is five minutes in the back of the classroom. Students can move their magnet both up and down throughout the day, so that a student has the opportunity to still move up to positives within the same day. Students ending the day on the highest level earn rewards.
Other Rewards
Students receive "Caught Being Good" red tickets throughout the week and place them in a drawing box. We have Treasure Box Tuesdays and Treasure Box Fridays. Names are randomly drawn to earn prizes.
Cones of Excellence
Students with great behavior have a small traffic cone places on their desks to show appreciation for their good behavior.
Behavior Referral Forms
For repeated behavior problems or more severe behaviors, a Behavior Referral Form will be sent home to be signed by the parent.
